About Sara Purr

saradragon

I am originally from Rochester, NY.
I got into tattooing in 2000 and did a year and a half at a street shop. Realizing that I wasn’t good, and nowhere near ready to work hard enough to learn tattooing properly, I took a few years off, and started up again in 2006.
I have had a crazy time getting my foot in the door in this life, and I humbly thank the few amazing humans who have helped me and been supportive along the way.
Even more, I am thankful for the others who were not supportive and who offered no help, for I was forced to eventually help myself.

I currently live in Seattle, WA and work at the best shop EVER, with truly lovely, kind and talented folks who have become my tattoo family.

I take appointments and walk ins Thursday through Monday at Rabid Hands Tattoo in the Ballard neighborhood.

I also travel for guest spots and conventions frequently, so check that page for my upcoming travel schedule.

I will tattoo pretty much anything, however I most enjoy American and Japanese traditional style tattooing.

I also offer permanent cosmetic eyebrows.

“Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.”

  3. Crazy I found you! It’s Gitch from Binghamton. You did the bubble gum icecream cone on my right arm at the Philly Con a few years back. I lost your contact info and I’ve been wondering what happened to you! Are you going to Philly again this year?

    • Hey Sarah!
I’m sadly not going this year. I can let you know next time I’m there, or if I’m closer to your area, you’re in Binghamton, right?
Glad you found me!!! You can always email me @ sarapurr@gmail.com
